WTE - Training for the Athletics

Max was training for his school’s annual athletics, he was qualified to run and represent the school. Max is known as a incredibly fast runner, with a good technique and steady pace. He’s in the school track squad, and he’s won the race in the athletics multiple times in a row.

But during the squad practices, it's been obvious that Max has been lacking strength. So his coach decided to have him work on it, each day of the week after school Max’s coach trained him individually. After doing a intense set, 30 crunches, 30 press-ups, and 30 push ups, his hard work finally paid off.

The Pizza Disaster

Rosie and Millie were delightedly baking lots of pizza together, in the back of their mothers cafe. Rolling up the soft dough mixture, decorating the pizza with different toppings to add great flavour, and carefully slided the pizza’s into the ovens.

Fifthteen minutes later, Rosie and Millie were sitting down on two stools, kneeling their faces onto the table while they were waiting patiently for the pizza’s to be done. Everything seemed fine, until their noses sensed a smell of smokey gas fumes filling up the air. They turned around to the ovens in total confusion, only to see that the pizza’s they made were burnt in flames.

They'll forcefully have no choice but to recreate new burrows in another area, or else they'll suffer.

2020 - My Blog Profile

Bonjour, my name is Annabelle and I’m a year seven at Otaki College.

I’m currently living in the town Otaki with my mother, but as well in Lower Hutt with my dad on mainly some weekends. I have a lot of likes because I do try many new things oftenly so I’m just going to name some of my favourite things. My most favourite foods are Japchae and basically any type of noodles, mi amour for k-pop is obsessive and big towards many varieties of groups in the industry.

Some of my hobbies are dancing, learning dances by just tutorial’s or fancam’s as well as make covers. I like to sketch and draw, and I sometimes like to paint when I’m bored. And last of all, I love to learn different languages since it’s easy to pick up and learn things, as well as learning to properly pronounce words.

Ghost activities

For a bit my class has been reading the book, Ghost by Jason Reynolds. The book was interesting and a good teacher read, and while our teacher was reading the chapters of the book, we had to do a
minimum amount of three activities. There was a set of activities to do each certain amount of pages, and we had to display and show our activities on slides so thats what I did up above.

Trip to Wellington

Yesterday my class went to Wellington for a school trip to two places, Te Papa and a medialab called Capital E. When the bus finally arrived it stopped at Te Papa first, so we all got out of the bus and got into the groups we were in.

After a bit my group headed inside of the big building and went upstairs to the next level. We chose that we'd go into and explore the nature zone, different types of birds, weta's, and more were in the first area of the nature zone. So we all looked around that first area when headed to the next area, it had lots of things to just try, the area I think was natural disasters and things that can naturally happen on earth. There was also a earthquake house that all wanted to go in so when did.

We weren't in Te Papa for too long, and once we were done we left Te Papa and walked to Capital E which was near where we were. When we were in Capital E, we had to put our bags in these boxes and then go inside into the medialab.  A lady told us that we were going to make our own music and showed us how to, once she finished showing us we got into pairs, I went with Toni.

We went to a computer, put the headphones on and started to look around of the different effects and sounds we could use.

After an hour and a half, we all had to save the music we made. Once we all did that we sat down and listened to what everybody made, then after finished the media session and headed outside to wait for the bus at a place near a arena.

After all I really enjoyed the trip but mostly the medialab session, because I've never made my own music before and I like to try new things. But Te Papa wasn't that exciting, but only because that I've been there many times before.

Holes by Louis Sachar

This term my class read the book Holes by Louis Sachar and did activities while we were reading.
I presented the activities I did on a google slide.
An introduction to the story:
The story was about a boy called Stanley Yelnats, and one day he was walking home when a famous pair of sneakers fell from a bridge he just passed and hit his head. He didn't know the sneakers were famous so he picked them up and started to walk home with them, but the police caught him with the shoes and arrested him. When he was in court, he was allowed two choices, Jail or Camp Greenlake. He chose Camp Greenlake because he never went to a camp before, until now.
I enjoyed doing most of the Holes activities and don't have a favourite one.
My favourite person in the book is Zero because he was brave enough to run away for Camp Greenlake.
